Update on the kitchen remodeling process

So progress on the latest kitchen project marches on as we have the tops and backsplash added.

The Cambria tops will be easy to care for with low maintenance but still have the rich look of natural stone because of their latest collection just released from the  Waterstone collection. A slight hiccup with production from Cambria has one of their most popular colors back-ordered for a few more weeks. To solve the issue, we've temporarily used plywood on the island so that the homeowner can have her stove installed and be able to still use it.

On the backsplash, we used a tumbled travertine stone called Antoyla available from                 The Tile Shop. For an accent we used sheets of glass mosaics, called Mexican Sand (also available from The Tile Shop),  and ran it thru the field tile. The colors pulled our whole palette together bringing the warm and cool tones out from the flooring and the glaze on the Kabinart cabinets.
