- Set up a temporary kitchen using old cabinets and a possible piece of plywood as a counter top

- keep kitchen tools and appliances in containers that are clearly labeled

- Plan ahead. Cook various meals before your kitchen remodel begins and freeze them to be warmed up at a later time when your kitchen remodel is in progress.

- in the summer barbecue  is always a good option.

- keep pets away from crew work

- map out areas and paths contractors can take around your home

- put breakables away only to be retrieved once the remodel has been completed.

- start planning meals that can be cooked in a slow cooker

- salad, fruits, and veggies are your new best friends! These are easy to prepare and always a healthy choice!

- Make a schedule and plan ahead for your meals. Designating your meals and what types of foods are more plausible to be cooking with the material you have will reduce your headaches by a lot.
