Expected Color Trends For 2016

We are excited to announce that we have just recently returned from a conference where we discussed and foresaw the trends we are expecting to see in 2016! Start moving to the future now and chat with us about how we can help you transform your home.

Color Trends

Color trends are expected to become more calm and muted. Those that chose to use more optimistic colors will be utilizing more mature and sophisticated colors. With that being said, pastel hues will begin to dominate the market with more tonal under tones and soft hues of gray-whites. This tells us that the natural whites are becoming more desirable and the high stark white is starting to decrease in desirability.

Panetone predicted that the deep color of the year of 2015 which was marsala, will begin to soften with brown undertones.

Indigo is also predicted to become more desirable as it will compliment the popular gray tones. These gray and neutral tones will continue to grow in popularity with beige color accents such as soft pinks, yellows, and green hues. Taupes will also be used to soften pink and violet colors and grays will take on a blue-green or violet base hue.

Further upcoming trends will include true browns stains with graining.

We are excited to start using this knowledge to help our clients create the home of their dreams. Take into considerations these professional assessments and then compare your home to these predictions. Is your home as desirable and functional as you want it? If not, think about some of the steps you can take to fall in love with your home all over again.
