In Home Technical Upgrades

The housing market is always changing as technology and trends develop throughout the years. Here are a few technological advances that have been developed to aide in home aging and safety.

1. Plugs

A normal home outlet produces 120 volts at any given time. This can be dangerous for those who are unaware of this or may perhaps stick a finger, knife, or fork into this space. Researches have developed a safety port that will produce 0 volts when there is no product plugged into the device and also when a knife, fork, or finger is inserted into the port. Once the appropriate device has been inserted into the plug there will then be a production of 24 volts; however, until that device is turned on the outlet will not produce the full 120 volts.

2. Security

Security is a large factor in owning a home. Home owners want to be assured that their home, the people in it, and their belongings are all safe and secure at all times of the day. In order to establish this many home owners will invest in a expensive security system that may take time to learn and function appropriately. Researches have developed a security system that is designed to work with the family or home it resides in and can be user friendly. It has the ability to set setting based on what the user may be interested in being notified about as well as setting as to who may be allowed to view and or set the security system. Options are also available for monitoring while away on vacation.

3. Back Up Power

Many homeowners have experienced the hassle of electronics when involved with a power outage. Many of our electronic devices are pricey and if not hooked up to a back up source are at risk from suffering damage during a power outage. Developers have created a back up source that will allow protection for many small devices such as computers, entertainment centers, office work stations, and the garage door. This allows for the ensured safety of a home owners devices as well as making sure no person is stuck in or out of the garage with a vehicle in case of an emergency.

4. Toilet

As home owners start to age their function may start to decrease as well; however, not many individuals are comfortable with the idea of having a care giver in their home or moving into a nursing home. In order to combat the struggles that may develop with a decrease in function developers have introduced a toilet that helps users stay clean and dry with little to no assistance. It comes with a wide variety of setting for temperature and spray as well as the temperature for the seat itself.

5. Microwave

Microwaves have jumped in popularity over the years as home owners enjoy the convenience they provide; however, the overhead placement can make many uncomfortable with hot plates, bowls, and spill-able foods.  A microwave has been developed as a drawer to help ease all of those complications! This becomes an easy access tool without the struggle to reach or fear of spilling. Its easy pull out drawer glides to minimize any spilling as well as an easy to control LED display and of course easy access to get in and out of this device.
