Your Dream Bathroom

Trending in today's market are bathrooms with a spa factor. Home owners want to be able to relax in their own home, preferably in their master bathroom. This desire sprouted with the visual ideas placed in hotels and spa's that were meant for peace and serenity. As more users experienced these luxuries the desire to have them install in their home became much larger.

Bathrooms today are opting to open up the space available to them and customize it with the essentials and luxuries that best fit their own needs. This personalization factor has created a demand for many shapes and colors in tubs, tiles, and showers. Tubs have taken off and become available in a wide variety of colors and shapes. Home owners have the option of choosing a color that will bet suit their desires as well as the roundness, size, and design. Today, the most popular tubs are meant to be the center piece of the room; therefore, many buyers are looking for an eye catching design and luxury features in order to maintain that spa like feel.
Showers are also a large aspect of the home owners personalization. If the space of the room is large enough the home owner generally opts for a shower and a separate tub. (Note that the older style tub and shower duo is no longer a popular feature). However, if the space is not large enough most commonly the room available will be used to design a stand in shower. The most common custom showers stem from the idea revolving around barrier free. To reach the spa luxuries a shower must reach its full potential by opening up a space, commonly fits at least two people, and having no shower door or a small step up or sliding door into the showering area.
A few other factors that go into the customization are the sink and other small features. Home owners can choose from gold; however, chrome remains a popular option due to its shine.

Technology integration is also a large feature in designing a bathroom. Home owners now have the option if installing technology that will allow for them to designate what temperature the water will run at without constantly having to guess and adjust the shower. These presets can control temperature, water usage, the type of spray, and the pressure. Home owners can also integrate sound into their bathroom and control the volume and music playing for it with these advancements as well.

Many home owners have considered their water usage while in the bathroom and around the home. It can be hard to lower the use of water if your appliances are all using them unsparingly. In today's market many appliances have been designed to function using a minimal amount of water. This means that the toilets are flushing and holding less water, showers are not using as much water and sinks are not always flowing with an excess amount. Now, it may be a concern as well that while these appliances may be helping to lower the water bill, that the home owner still receives only the best and greatest use from each appliance they invest in.  Manufactures have ensured that their products not only function more efficiently but allow the home owner to utilize their products with the same comfort if not more than they would have with a greater water usage.

A spa treatment in your own home sounds tempting but in reality home owners question if the money to have these features is worth it. A few years ago, before the crash, the economy worked as though the more money they spent the better their appliances were. After the crash, many home owners opted for the essentials and strayed away from the luxurious options they had once sought out. Now, coming back to today's market, many home owners have seem to have found a happy medium. This means that home owners are now opting to spend more money for features in their home as long as they can see the functionality and use of these items. By installing these features into their home to create a luxurious spa in a bathroom home owners are effectively increasing the resale value of their home without spending over the top money,
