Quartz Countertops

Today’s kitchens are not only expected to look good, but also to function well. So, how do we create a high-traffic, efficient cooking and living space that also combines as many different materials – wood, stone, metal, fiber – into one cohesive and elegant design? Easy when you’re designing your kitchen using Cambria Quartz for your countertops.

Cambria Quartz countertops have a pre-matched set of richer, complimentary colors to choose from. Maybe one Quartz color for your base cabinetry and the matching or complimentary color for your island?  When designing, we like to start with the cabinetry and then pick the countertop color. These elements pull the rest of the space together. Benjamin Moore Paints has “partnered” with Cambria and matched paint colors to each of the Quartz colors.  There are three or four complimentary colors, some are darker, some lighter.

Differently textured accent elements like the glass tile in the backsplash and maybe wicker baskets in on island’s open-end shelf and a 10” wide repurposed pine flooring all infuse more interest in the kitchen’s visual landscape. Stainless steel, pewter or nickel, copper or aged bronze all add a splash of coolness. The end result –  kitchen “jewelry” that sparkles and dances.
